How can coaching help you to get to the next level at work

If you’re wondering whether coaching can help you achieve your goals at work, you’re in the right place.

Whether you’ve experienced coaching before or are new to the process, we can help.

Coaching can help you feel more confident, improve your communication skills, work more easily with others and achieve your professional goals.

Here are some of the things people tell us when they’re ready to explore coaching:

“I’d like to get promoted at work, but I don’t know what to work on.”

“I’m afraid my talented team members will leave if I can’t challenge them and help them grow.”

“I’d like to retire or move on one day, so I need a coach to help with succession planning.”

“It’s lonely at the top. I need a sounding board for the issues I can’t burden my team with.”

“I’m experiencing conflict, and I don’t know how to handle it.”

Our coaches can help with all of this.

How we’ll work together

We’ll work with you to help define your goals, build your excitement and create a path to get there. At the surface level, coaching looks like a conversation followed by taking action. But, coaching works at a deeper level.

We’ll help you clarify your values, learn how you are perceived in the world, and shift how you show up. This helps you to step into new roles, both personally and professionally, with ease.

Here’s how it works:

·      You’ll have a “fit check” conversation with one of our coaches to see if you get along well

·      We’ll send you a quote for several sessions (minimum of 6 sessions)

·      If appropriate, you’ll meet with both your coach and manager to discuss your objectives

·      The coach will administer assessments as needed (360 feedback, positive intelligence, strengths-based leadership, Birkman, Facet5, MBTI or DiSC)

·      The client, manager, and coach may meet during the program and at the end, to consider the next steps

Your coach may suggest other resources, books, and supplementary exercises.

You get to choose which coach you work with. You’ll have the opportunity to select from different coaches on our roster with different styles and business backgrounds.

You’ll have time to apply what you’ve learned between sessions. We’ll structure the program to have a cadence that supports your growth.  Clients often choose to have calls once every two to three weeks.

You can trust our expertise: all of our coaches have trained with CoActive coaching, one of the best-known organizations in the industry. All coaches are also certified by the International Coaching Federation.

FAQs

Do you provide reports on a client’s progress?

No. The coaching code of ethics defines that coaches must treat client sessions as confidential. To assess progress, we recommend that managers and staff members agree on what progress will look like and meet to assess that together.

Will we meet in person, via video conference, or on the phone?

At present, coaches and clients will meet over the phone or videoconferencing (such as Zoom or teams).

How much do you charge, and what are the payment terms?

We will provide a quote upfront for your custom program. 50% is payable at the beginning of the program, and the remaining 50% will be payable halfway through the program.

How long is a typical program?

A typical program lasts 6 to 8 months. Other lengths are available.
