MBTI for Teams

Build Trust, Collaborate Better, Achieve More
You and each of your team members have unique ways to perceive the world and make decisions. Sometimes it can be frustrating when your preferences differ from someone else’s, for example, when one person likes to plan in detail, and the other is ready to start right away! This program is for teams who want to build trust, understand each other better and find the best way to produce results together.
What is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)?
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a widely-used personality type assessment, helping people become more appreciative and accepting of other preferred styles of communication and behaviour patterns. The questionnaire identifies a range of preferences that are invaluable for understanding your team dynamics and relationships.
MBTI for Teams
Our Myers-Briggs program will help you and your team understand communication and working preferences based on results from the MBTI tool. This three-part program takes place in an interactive, supportive and fun way, helping each team member form insights about how they and their colleagues prefer to take in information and make decisions.
Our Program
Workshop delivery. We begin with a half-day workshop, usually delivered over Zoom. You’ll learn how each team member prefers to communicate and make decisions based on their Myers Briggs personality type. Your team members will learn how their preferences influence their overall team interactions. At the end of the session, you’ll each select a habit to work on over the coming two weeks.
Practical application. We use the Habit Builder platform to help put the learning into practice in between sessions. This easy-to-use technology gives you reminders to use what you have learned to help you reap the benefits of training and build new skills.
Follow-up session. Two weeks after the first session, we reconvene for 90 minutes to share successes, opportunities for further improvement and create an action plan.
Our Participants are Saying…
What are the most useful ideas that you learned from this program?
“Teams are built with many different types of individuals. Being able to work together will foster an environment where everyone understands each other and works the most efficiently.”
“I found that I understood more of my co-workers and how they act and feel. I realized that I am not the only one who may be afraid to speak up, or set in my ways of completing a task.”
“Always be aware that others’ feelings and actions can be different from yours based on their personalities. Never take it personally, everyone is just wired differently.”
What other feedback or comments do you have for the facilitator?
“Susan did a really great job! We are a generally quiet, closed-off group. She did a fantastic job of ensuring everyone participated and felt comfortable sharing their views/perspectives/experiences/feelings. In my personal opinion, this day was MUCH more of a success than it would have been otherwise thanks to Susan's techniques.”
“Time well spent - would recommend all staff have the opportunity to do the Myers Briggs assessment followed up with a session like this.”
“Great instructor. Very approachable and genuinely interested in interacting with, and helping participants. Took time to focus on individuals. Encouraged participation.”
