Hi, I’m Susan Gregory, founder of Best Work Yet.

I know what it’s like to have a lot on the go. I own a business. My husband and I have a five-year-old son and (during non-pandemic times!) we also love to travel. I’m involved in my community and worked for over 2 years on a charity board. If you know me, you know I’m organized and I love strategic thinking. I have great tools and systems that support me in my business, but I sometimes get overwhelmed and have trouble getting started with so many ideas. That’s when I’ll go back to my favourite tool that helps me every time: mind mapping.

While working in a corporate job in 2004, I learned mind mapping with Buzan International (the world authority on mind mapping).

I loved that it’s a fast and visual way to do a brain dump and organize my thoughts. I started using it to plan projects, take notes and prepare for meetings.  People started asking me about my maps and even wanted copies!

Fast forward to today. I own Best Work Yet, a training and facilitation company. We teach mind mapping in live workshops and show people how to use it for communication, time management, work/life balance and more.

Organize Your Thoughts with Mind Mapping

I made this course for you to learn mind mapping easily and quickly. You’ll watch short videos then put the tool into action.  You don’t need any software, just pens and paper.

You’re going to have so much fun with this! It will help you stop things you’ve been putting off because they just feel too big.

What you’ll get:

You’ll have lifetime access to the course.  There’s a four-minute welcome video to get you started, then seven video-based modules (to help you make your next seven mind maps). Each video is 4 to 7 minutes long.

You’ll build your skills as you watch each video and do a mind map after each one. Once you’ve done the first two modules, you can do the rest in any order. For example, you might want to use mind mapping for planning, or if you’re studying, you might pick the note-taking or memory module.

Course outline:

  1. Make your first mind map

  2. Refine your technique

  3. Make plans easily

  4. Improve your memory

  5. Brainstorm and take notes

  6. Organize your ideas

  7. Absorb complex or detailed topics
